What is better than two Byron Nelson tickets?

ONE ticket! which is what my wife gave me for my birthday.  I guess she was unaware of its reputation as a Spring Break-style festival of booze & blondes.

I do plan on wearing my golf shoes, even if I will look like a chump. I've never been to a tournament, and haven't yet decided what day to go. I've played a couple of DA Weibring designs (Sherrill Park #2 in Richardson, Oak Hollow in McKinney), so I'm eager to see the TPC changes up close. Will it be 'framed' or 'strategic'?

I am a resident of the Dallas-Fort Worth area. In the metroplex, we have a pretty good range of inexpensive and well-maintained municipal or public courses.  It is pretty easy to find afternoon rates under $25, and twilight walking rates under $15.

So far I've played over 15 different courses. I've acquired an interest in golf architecture and strategy from reading the blogs.

In May, I'll be going to Cornwall and hope to play some golf over there. Nothing famous, but maybe a couple of the local courses.
