Michael Jordan May Land On Jupiter - With or Without Strip Clubs

Ah, salacious gossip about celebrities. Don't you just love it?

Nightlife? I'm told Jordan, who couldn't be reached for comment, is patronizing strip bars much less these days. Doesn't mean he isn't dating. He showed up at a Miami Beach function two weeks ago with blond twins, one on each arm.

That's Michael Jordan, and it's from a Palm Beach Post story ostensibly about Jordan's househunting in Jupiter, Fla., where he is rumored to be settling in at the Jack Nicklaus-designed Bear's Club, a very high-end development full of ready-to-go mansions.

Good job sexing up a real estate story, guys.

"There's a very strong possibility he's buying there," said the source, who asked not to be named. "He wants a private golf course he can live on. He wants it to be close to Charlotte (N.C., where Jordan is part owner of the NBA team, the Bobcats), and he wants a home that's already built in a private place. He wants to move in, get his clubs and get on the course.

"I told him he wouldn't find much 'action' there, or much nightlife."

Maybe Michael just wants to play golf. But his penchant for playing high-stakes golf is well-known.

Wanna be like Mike? Then drop just short of $20K on the links to Lawrence Taylor. I've heard reports in the past of Jordan losing much more than that - hundreds of thousands. Funny, you don't hear many stories of Jordan winning big bets on the golf course. There must be some of those around, right?

It's GOOD to be the king !!

Do you think anybody gets the blond treatment when house shopping in that neighborhood ? (where's that realtor's phone number ??) :-)
