One Day, Two Tournaments
There's an unusual circumstance taking place today: Some of the world's best golfers are playing in two different tournaments on the same day.
The CA Championship is wrapping up this morning in Miami. Then, a little later today in Orlando, the following golfers who finish the CA this morning will also start the Tavistock Cup:
- Henrick Stenson
- Tiger Woods
- Charles Howell III
- Daniel Chopra
- J.B. Holmes
- Ernie Els
- Robert Allenby
- Nick O'Hern
- Retief Goosen
- Craig Parry
Tavistock Cup officials pushed their start times back by about 2-and-a-half hours, and coverage on the Golf Channel is supposed to begin at approximately 1:30 p.m. ET.
Paula Creamer and Annika Sorenstam are playing this year, too, although neither gets to play on Day 1. They face each other in Day 2 singles.

Is there an airport close to the course ?
It looks like Tiger is the only one who will have to rush to get back to Orlando.
Finish between 10:30 and 11, 30 minutes to pack up and drive to the airport around the corner - an hour to Orlando (with all the airport traffic and taxiing) - then over to the golf course by 1:00 ?
whew ! I'm getting tight thinking about it.

why not ?
And hey - it's the club championship !
Did you see the stack of prizes they are playing for ? They could make more in prizes than prize money this week.
