Around SBN: Stories from Blazersedge Night Bar-right-arrows

Text Message

Jeff Rude of Golfweek has a good column on the Kelly Tilghman imbroglio. I won't rehash it, it's been hashed enough.

What caught my eye was this:

Tilghman and Tiger Woods are friends. They call each other. They text each other.

So let me get this straight: Tiger texts Calc, Tiger texts Kelly ... good God, is there anyone he doesn't text? Yes, yes there is: Me. That's right, I have never received a text from Tiger. Can you believe it?

Yo! El Tigre! Gimme your digits! Let's hang. Give me 20 strokes a side and I'll play you for money.

Who am I kidding. I can't even get Tiff to text me. Although the odds might be better if I actually owned anything capable of sending or receiving a text. But I don't. Not even a cell phone. So maybe first things first.

mostly good article...
...Rude pretty much got it right.  I just wish he wouldn't have stopped short with Al Sharpton and pointed out that the only things the rev is interested in is political power and lining his pockets - which is precisely why he storms CNN (THE most liberal news organization on the planet) every chance he gets.

And it is pretty clear that Johnson DOESN'T get it - with all his years in the media - he is still willing to toe the racial line...especially when it draws attention to a limited production rag like Men's Fitness.

I would like to see the numbers that say Tilghman draws ratings.  In two years, I haven't talked to anyone who likes having her in the booth.

* on a lighter note - come on TJoh - send Stu a text or maybe put him in your Faves :-)
