Four-Balls Will Finish Sunday Morning
The weather delay at the beginning of play Saturday in the Solheim Cup kept the teams from completing Saturday's four-ball matches. Those matches will resume Sunday morning, followed by the singles matches. Pairings for the singles matches won't be released until the four-balls are finished.
The U.S. held a 6.5 to 5.5 lead entering four-balls, but when play was halted by darkness the Euros were three of four four-ball matches:
- Linda Wessberg/Maria Hjorth, Europe, lead Paula Creamer/Brittany Lincicome, U.S., 1-up through 13
- Juli Inkster/Stacy Prammanasudh, U.S., all square with Trish Johnson/Iben Tinning, Europe, through 12
- Becky Brewerton/Laura Davies, Europe, lead Natalie Gulbis/Nicole Castrale, U.S., 1-up through 10
- Annika Sorenstam/Suzann Pettersen, Europe, lead Cristie Kerr/Morgan Pressel, U.S., 1-up through 9
Update: Turns out they've gone ahead and set the singles pairings tonight (thanks to Shanks for the heads-up in comments):
- Laura Diaz, U.S., vs. Catriona Matthew, Europe
- Pat Hurst, U.S., vs. Sophie Gustafson, Europe

- Juli Inkster, U.S., vs. Iben Tinning, Europe
- Sherri Steinhauer, U.S., vs. Becky Brewerton, Europe
