Around SBN: Jeremy Lin And How The Pac-12 Missed Him

There They Go Again

You just can't have a Solheim Cup without a little trash-talking, it seems. Today, from Laura Davies:

"All of the Americans are nice girls except one who's not particularly nice."

Davies declined to name the mean "girl," but did offer that she was not talking about Juli Inkster. I think we could have ruled out Inkster without Davies' help. Nobody doesn't like Juli.

Davies did also have some constructive comments to offer, however. She admitted that the American team appears stronger, but pointed to the home course and the weather as factors that might even things out:

"It's our 13th player," Davies said. "I've said it all week that if these two teams lined up in America it could be a real problem for us.

"But because of the home advantage, the home golf course, that's where we have our main chance. We play well, we will win."
