Tiger Woods' Niece Named All-American
The National High School Golf Coaches Association released its annual boys and girls All-America teams today. The one name that probably will catch the most eyes is that of Cheyenne Woods, the niece of Tiger Woods (daughter of his half-brother, Earl Woods Jr.).
Cheyenne plays for Xavier College Preparatory School in Phoenix. Last year, Cheyenne led her team to the state title and won the individual state championship with a score that included a pair of 68s, and one nine of 29. Cheyenne, 17, won six straight tournaments at one point earlier this year. Woods is No. 60 in Golfweek's junior rankings.
