I Wish I Was a Little Bit Taller
I wish I was a little bit taller,
I wish I was a baller,
I wish I had a girl who looked good,
I would call her ...
Retro rapping inspired by Tadd Fujikawa:
"Maybe I will grow. If I stay short, that's OK," he said. "A lot of people say, `Wow, you're a lot shorter than you look on TV. That's the main thing, as long as I look taller on TV."
Tadd Fujikawa is 5-foot-1 and wishes he'd grow. Michelle Wie is 6-foot-3 and wishes she'd stop growing. Those Hawaiians just can't make up their minds.
Fujikawa, 16 years old, makes his professional debut on Thursday at the Reno-Tahoe Open. Is he still happy with his decision to turn pro? He says:
"Basically I think it's the right thing to do, for me to turn pro," says the 5-foot-1 Fujikawa, sitting in a car to get a break from the wind. "Everything is going really well for me. I just kind of wanted to ride the wave. It's always been my dream to play on tour and compete against the best players in the world."
Tadd is saying all the right things this week: he's here to have fun; if money comes that's great but he's not doing it for the money; he wants to give back to junior golf and help his family.
Now we'll see how he plays as a 16-year-old professional.
I wish I had a rabbit in a hat with a bat
and a '64 Impala ...
