- World Cup of Golf: Last year, Scotland lost in a playoff to Germany at the World Cup. This year, the Scots defeated the United States in a playoff to capture that country's first World Cup title. Colin Montgomerie and Marc Warren won with a par on the third playoff hole, defeating the American duo of Boo Weekley and Heath Slocum.
Story | Scores - Australian Masters: Aaron Baddeley outlasted Daniel Chopra to claim the MasterCard Masters title, parring the fourth playoff hole for the win. Baddeley and Chopra had finished regulation at 13-under 275 in the event cosanctioned by the European Tour and Australasian Tour.
Story | Scores - At The Skins Game, Stephen Ames made a 7-footer on the final hole to collect $650,000 and the overall victory. Fred Couples won $325,000 while Zach Johnson and Brett Wetterich were shut out.
