Tiger Woods' Other House
The AP says Tiger Woods has three holes completed on his Dubai golf course project. Hey, you play that stretch of holes six times, you got yourself a round of golf!
The article also informs us that Woods' house in Florida, planned at 9,000 square feet on property for which he paid $40 million, just isn't enough for him:
Woods' 50,000 square-foot mansion adjacent to Al Ruwaya, which means serenity, will be one of 287 residences in the development, a joint venture between Woods' design company and Tatweer, a member of the government-affiliated Dubai Holding.
While Woods works on the course design, he's also starting to delve into the look of his home.
"He might choose not to go ahead with one of those Arabian looks but he's actually liking them very much," Al Gurg said. "He does. It's a different look and feel."
But Woods is actually going to be a piker in that neighborhood:
Some of the homes will be over 100,000 square feet, and the cost will range from $12 million to $23 million.
Well, they always say it's better to own the least expensive home in a rich neighborhood ...
When you're making $100 million a year, you've got to spend it on something. And just how many kids can one man be expected to educate, anyway?
I live in a nice, 3-bedroom, 2.5-bath, 1,700-square foot house. My typical bedroom is 196 square feet, typical bath 60 feet. If Woods used Stu-sized rooms, rather than Tiger-sized rooms, his mansion would be a sweet little 200-bedroom, 180-bathroom house.
He can invite the Mickelsons over and not even know they're there.

can't get my mind around those facts...
Then he is going to have a 50,000 sq/ft house (just a little smaller than the average Wal-Mart) in Dubai and the neighbors there will also have to tell visitors that Tiger's place is that LITTLE house on the corner ???
Even with numbers like those - Tiger Woods is still "modest" in his tastes. Must be that Buick influence. :-)
