Join the Conversation - Start Your Waggle Room Diary
What is a "diary" on Waggle Room? It's your chance to join the conversation and blog right along with me and other contributors.
Think of diaries as sort of your blog-within-the-blog. Maybe there's a golf topic you don't see already addressed on Waggle Room, and you'd like to address it. Or perhaps you want to expand on a topic that's only been touched on elsewhere. With your diary, you can do exactly that. Just log in to your account, write your entry, and post it. It appears on the Waggle Room site in the Diaries section, and if it catches the eye of an editor, your post can even get bumped up to the homepage.
When you create your user name and password, you are assigned a unique URL where all your diary entries are archived. Send this to your friends and they'll always be able to read what you've written - just as other Waggle Room diarists and readers can by clicking on your user name as it appears with your posts.
Pretty cool, eh?
To post your own diary entries, all you have to do is click the "create an account" link at the top right of the menu.
A few notes about diaries:
- Diaries are not the same as comments. If you have a short reply to someone else's post, use comments. Diaries are intended to be a little longer - as in a stand-alone blog post. Think a minimum of two paragraphs for diary entries.
- Use proper spelling, punctuation and grammar.
- And please keep your diary posts clean (no profanity) and respectful.
FanPosts are written by Waggle Room members. Viewpoints expressed do not necessarily reflect those of WaggleRoom.com and its editor, Ryan Ballengee. The Waggle Room member whose byline appears with the FanPost is solely responsible for its content.
