The Ace Parade continues this weekend at the Fry's.com Open. From PGATour.com:

Rickie Fowler just grabbed the lead when he aced the 203-yard par-3 fifth with a 6-iron. The pin is set on the back of the green today, making Fowler's shot 211 yards. The ace is the fourth consecutive day Fowler has scored an eagle. In the past two weeks alone, he already has six eagles.

He currently is still behind Troy Matteson, though.

Randall Mell reports that Danny Lee didn't get out of first stage qualifying on Friday at Stonebridge Ranch in McKinney, Texas . Lee shot 76 and tied for 36th. With bad weather affecting play, Lee shot a 78 in the second round. He needed to finish among the top 22 to advance to the second stage.

That's ok, though. Since he wont his year on the Euro Tour, he's exempt through 2011 there. And he'll get some sponsor exemptions, too.

It took some digging and help from the Full Metal Archivist, but I've finally figured out JLPGA Q-School. The tour is pretty closed-mouth about releasing field lists in advance of their 4 stages of qualifying tournaments, but earlier this month they did reveal the names of some of the LPGA players who will be playing in the penultimate and final stages in a press release to the Japanese media.

Our own Old Man Par offers a very interersting golf game with a Disney allusion: Lady or the Champ. It's a match play format that forces the winner to keep winning from the championship tees - or gain an advantage by playing from the ladies'/forward tees.

Hey Wagglers! With Hound Dog "stepping away" from the whole LPGA blogging thing (cue Ahnold voiceover: "he'll be bahhhck!"), I'll be subjecting you every so often to links to Mostly Harmless that may be of interest to some of y'all. This one is my attempt to assess the careers-to-date of the best players in the LPGA rookie classes of 2006-2008 who have joined the Million Dollar Club in career winnings (or are about to). A few really good players haven't played enough LPGA events to make the list--I'm talking mostly about Momoko Ueda and Amy Yang--but it covers the top 21 as of now in my book. Enjoy.
