It was career win No. 11 - and No. 2 of 2008 - for Kenny Perry at the Buick Open. Perry won with a final-round 66, and with two bogeys by Woody Austin on the final two holes, and with a missed 12-footer on the last hole by Bubba Watson.

European Tour
Spaniard Pablo Larrazabal got into the French Open through a 36-hole qualifier, then wound up winning the prestigious title by four strokes. Larrazabal closed with a 67 to finish at 15-under 269. Colin Montgomerie came second. The victory put Larrazabal into The Open Championship, secured him a European Tour card through 2010, and jumped him all the way to 17th on the Ryder Cup points list.

Loren Roberts finally claimed win No. 1 on the Champions Tour in 2008, following three runner-up finishes. Roberts shot 68 on Sunday at the Commerce Bank Championship, beating Nick Price and Lonnie Nielson by one stroke.

Vicky Hurst made up for a second-round 76 with a final-round 67, coming from behind to win the Horseshoe Casino Classic. It's the second time in several weeks that Hurst has shot the best round of the final day for a come-from-behind victory. Here, she edged Jin Young Pak by a stroke.
