This is a local Atlanta kid who is an ok golfer, not exceptional, but she has skipped the traditional route of junior golf with all the friends and competition that goes along with it, and started her “career” from a marketing angle. Her first step to golfing greatness was to…design a logo for her fashion empire. Last time I saw her, she was going to play several Golf Channel Amateur Tour events.
I couldn’t figure out if she was trying to be a golfing Williams Sister, but she seems like a good kid. CNN ? They’re local and not the most reliable source for things like this, so the idea that she is one of the “most talented and influencial youths in America” is dubious at best.

I’d like to see this research on her record. I’ve seen her against amateur men on the Golf Channel Amateur Tour and she wasn’t even close. I’ve never seen her name on a GSGA tournament winner announcement. And I’ve never seen her name on a professional list on any tour.
She’s a good kid – she has a pretty good swing – her mom is a terrific, fun lady – but I haven’t seen any evidence of all these wins or even contending performances.

I just don’t buy into the “15 minutes of fame” thing, if you Google her, the first 2 entries are for her website. Looks like she’s going for the “Williams sister” path…….modeling, clothing, jewelery, I can’t wait for the reality show.
She will get her props if she starts “winning” (thank you Charlie) in college & on the Pro Tour, until then I will sit back and wait.

not really – got out on Wednesday to a Hooters Tour pro-am. Amazing talent even on this level. Our team finished three shots off the lead and didn’t make a putt in the first 7 holes. OH well.
They had a very cool long drive contest hole. Folks from MOI golf brought a bag full of drivers from 5* of loft to 12* – all kinds of shafts. The 5* head was 49" long, so we tried that one. I got it out 292 yards…and was 44 yards behind the winner – but it was fun.

It was a politically correct label for ghetto dialect speak for a few years as an excuse for people not to learn how to speak the language correctly – now it’s pretty much just a punchline. Kind of figured you didn’t have that problem over there.

Damm, some guys would do almost anything to get a few pounds…Oh…and my brother and 5 of his buddies (good sailors all) departed the Isle of Wright with my new toy on Wednesday….They had actually been there for a week, doing sea trials….My brother said she is a real thurobred….The boat yard couldn’t do what I wanted for the refrigertion, but I purchased the boat for 30 cents on the dollar….Too good and investment to pass up….they spent a fortune in provisioning, which I suspect was mostly WiNE….Oh well, Will meet them in Florida….Will let you know when I lay eyes on her…

Difficult to choose as I like most sports, but if it comes to the crunch (ha!) I ‘d have to go for rugby. Sir doesn’t consider me a “proper” supporter however, as I tend to watch rugby (and cricket) at international level only, but soccer at local level.
Well, when you get a top notch product for 1/3rd of the manufacturers price
you really have to….I talked to some dealers in Washington State, and they were all willing to give me a handsome profit , sight unseen….Don’t know how long my brother and friends will take…He was very vauge on that…Suspect knowing him, he will milk it to the last of the Wine….
As for my trips…haven’t really decided yet…Will be playing it by ear….I need to get a nice young lithsome female deck hand to assist me….hahaha
Ok, if your not qualified, maybe Easy and scrums know what is most popular…Some of us were debating, and I thought maybe Soccer, as it is so popular all over now….STUB

Tell me what you purchased for a boat, Brand, Model, Engine(s). Sometimes the name on a boat can help sell it, rather than hindering the sale. This one time down at the Harbor, I asked my girlfriend to sit on the Stern of a friend of mines Lobster Boat for a picture. What she didn’t notice was the name that was on the boat just under her in the picture. “Sea Hag” LOL Of course I did that on purpose. :o)

^5’s to both of you. Yes indeed I am very proud of Julie surging ahead of the crowd (including you two) and me in Fantasy Golf. I blew it leaving Day and Donald on the bench the first two days. Instead I had Kuch and Bads. Thats ok, only 32 points from the top. 8 measley points from em66 and dare I say, umm errrr 81 points ahead of Wendy. :o)

Jump...purchased a 61 ft. Passport built in 2010 for a couple from of
all places, the UK,,,,They commissioned the build in 09 and than went bust right after getting the boat…I always hate taking advantage of someones bad luck, but when this came up, I couldn’t resist….It origionally had a Yanmar 125 horse, which I had taken out and a 250 HP. Valvo put in….I tried to get the refrigeration redone, so that I had the capacity to provision for maybe 5-6 months, but the cost to retro fit and do it, was prohibitive….I was able to get this for just about 30 cents on the dollar….My sons thought I was ready for the funny farm, but came around when they saw how much profit we could make…
The origional couple did everything first class…The ship to Shore for example is the same as used on Cruze ships….The radar is Mast rigged and 100 mile radius….All mattresses are Posture Pedic custom…Double sets of Sail, etc….I decided to increase the Engine, as I think the Valvo to be more reliable…Even the Auto Pilot has a back up system…Has Bow Thrusters and an underwater light and camera…Wind Pole for battery recharging….4 burner stove rather than 3 and 2 microwaves….My brother said the engine room is Stand Up and absolutely great to be in….So, all in all I couldn’t pass it up….STUB

Good choice changing out for a 250 Volvo engine, the Yanmar was prolly to small anyway and a cheaper model. Thirty cents on the dollar is a great deal, but ya better turn it over quick as you know the de-valuation with boats happens right quick and the domestic economy stinks in general, especially in the boat selling business.

In Wales rugby is the most popular and the most played sport.Every village has a team practically and many village teams have a first,second,youth and under 7,s and so on.In the UK as a whole though yes football is no 1.Like Wendy I love rugby first.:0).Tis a mans game played by gentlemen(albeit tough ones).
