Just got an interesting email this afternoon - and it struck me as kind of fun an interesting - and from a place pretty close to last on places I would expect something like this to be from.

How does South Dakota Golf TV online sound ? Yep - the land of the 20 minute summer.

I have to say, this is a pretty darn good web site. They have streaming video with golf and fitness tips, news, equipment reviews, updates on junior golf, and a bulletin board for people to post their local events and even the results.

I've been sitting here watching the Caddyshack part of the site, following a couple of guys who caddy on the PGA Tour as they travel around the country. I have no idea who they are or who they're working with from week to week, but it's a lot of fun flipping through their video posts. One has a pretty good road trip tip. After a long drive, find a rest stop or truck stop and pull out the clubs and your shag bag to hit a few balls. Yep - it's as funny to watch as it sounds.

Remember Don Donatello from The Big Break ? ("PULL IT TIGHT !!") There is a two part interview with Double D as well.

Looks like they have pretty good backing for the site wtih plenty of courses and ranges advertsing, so this could be a popular site for South Dakota golfers.

Couldn't tell you how many states have web sites like this, but if South Dakota is the first - what the heck are the warm states waiting on ? This is a great idea.
