Sorry to disappoint - not about the golf but the following made me smile and hope it will do the same for you.

Darren Clarke's caddie won the Caddie of the Year Award "for putting up with him"!

Ian Poulter's caddie won the Worst Dressed Caddie Award for wearing his boss's clothing line.

Apparently there was a lot of edgy banter - plus a lot of gags at Wozz-Ilroy's expense.

I do wish I could attend one of these evenings!

I swear I didn't know

about the Williams’ debacle when I wrote this! I picked the awards stuff off of GMac’s Twitter. I assumed the “edgy banter” was the usual stuff that goes on at these events.

I agree with scrums.

Too many pints, rowdy and inelegant comraderie, an invitation to disaster with the press in attendance. Who knows(other than he and TW) whether they joked like that or not? Old friends sometimes tread where others dare not. Tiger can save him, let him twist in the wind, or throw him under the bus. Poor choice of adjectives to say the least.
