Tuesday "Morning Drive" guest - Brian Katrek
It's not often that I encourage people to tune into xxx Golf Channel programming, but I have to toss this one out.
Brian Katrek, host of local radio and TV in Atlanta, host of an XM radio show ("Teed Off") during the week, long time host and announcer for PGA Tour Radio coverage of the PGA Tour, and now world famous for his interview with LaMont Mann - will be joining Gary Williams and Erik Kuselias on xxx Golf Channel Tuesday morning around 7:30 eastern on "Morning Drive", the network's new fake "simulcast" radio show.
Not sure how things will go for the show after they have a talented media guest on - but maybe they will finally wake up and get Brian on the channel. :-)

LOL !! Best part of the set – aside from Holly Sonders, of course – are the two “Quiet Please” paddles directly behind Kuselias’ head.
They did have Ken Green in studio today – funny guy. His opening line was him hoping he didn’t put his foot in his mouth because it’s a lot harder to get it out these days. Later, he made some crack about his dislike for lawyers, and when Kuselias said he used to be one, Green said “must not have been a very good one.”
Gary Williams does have a golf background. He was a PGA of America member working at a number of really nice courses a while back, played college golf…somewhere…and I think he tried the mini tours for a short while.
Fathom the odd hypocrisy that the government wants every citizen to prove that they have health insurance, but people don't have to prove they are citizens.
Oh, THAT Brian Katrek!
This Morning Drive show is a poor imitation of Mike and Mike in the Morning on ESPN.
Is this on the internet anywhere?
I don’t have the Golf Channel or satellite radio. I’m sorry I missed Ken Green…did he mention a playing schedule at all for 2011?
I write about golf at www.tees2greens.com, too.
LOL – Brian is the host of the show I produce – just having some fun with it. In all honesty, he is one of the best interviewers around and does great work on golf broadcasts.
LaMont Mann is a putter refinisher, designer, and crafter out in Arizona. Great guy and does some incredible work putting favorite putters back in like-new condition. MannKraftedPutters.com – and he’s doing some design and building work with Sunset Beach Putters.
Brian interviewed LaMont last week and some of the guys at PutterTalk.com asked me to send them the interviews – several were in th UK and Australia
