Woods Commits To Barclay's Championship (FedEx Cup Round 1
Brian Wacker reports that Tiger Woods has announced he will be in the Barclay's Championship. At #108 in the FedEx Cup standings, he is somewhat secure, but it is mathematically possible for him to drop below #125 and not be invited.

He kind of had to in order to show Corey Pavin that he was serious about wanting to be on the Ryder Cup team. Pavin said that he was going to unofficially keep the points rolling for another few weeks to see what would happen. Not sure that that accomplishes since all he has to do is turn on the TV so he can see who’s playing well and who isn’t – but it’s is team, right ?
