The Molinari Brothers Are in Charge at the Scottish Open
Forget Nessie. Be afraid of the two-headed monster from Italy known as the Molinari brothers. Entering the final round of the Scottish Open, older-but-less experience Edoardo leads Darren Clarke by a shot and over his younger brother Francesco (as well as Peter Hedblom) by seven shots.
Edoardo took control of the tournament with a third round 63. The run to finish the round assured his surge to the top, with four birdies in five closing holes. He has three fourth place finishes on the European Tour this year and was tied for runner-up at Bay Hill earlier this year on the PGA Tour.
Francesco had an opportunity to win last week in France, but lost in a playoff to Miguel Angel Jimenez. He has a third and a fourth on the European Tour this year. His best finish in the States was ninth at the Players.

Are any of you across the pond able to watch this event ?
I don’t like the fact it’s played here every year, but the field is strong and the finish is tougher than it seems.
The Molinari Brothers...
… are a pretty amazing story. Does anyone not envy them? It’d already be awesome to play at a really high level… but with your brother doing it too?…. that’s got to be fantastic.
Viable fantasy picks?
In Yahoo’s Group C they go up against the likes of Justin Rose (on fire right now), Paul Casey (trendy pick this year), Matt Kuchar, Tim Clark, and my favorite underdog pick Tom Watson.
I have Rose and Casey in the lineup right now, with Casey on the bench.
Seve played in a few tournaments in the '70's with his brothers
they, of course didn’t reach Seve’s heights . Imagine the Molinari brothers together in the last group…it’s bound to happen sooner or later. Great stuff.
