PrintThe USGA has released all of the scores from twelve of thirteen sites on which 36 hole sectional qualifying tournaments for the US Open were played. The remaining site at The Woodlands, Texas, will complete play tomorrow.

strong showing by the amateurs
Five amateurs won medalist honors at the sectionals. That’s pretty impressive.

Yeah, I agree – pretty awesome to see the strength of amateur golf right now (particularly after I made the mistake of thinking it might be on the decline!)
