The Updated LPGA Priority List
With the results from this past weekend's State Farm Classic, the eighth event of the season, the Priority List has been updated which will be in effect from next week's LPGA Championship. This week's Shoprite Classic will utilize the original list.
Three players, all rookies, moved up into Category 8-Current Year Top 40 [#'s 97-99] on the strength of their performances this season: Azahara Munoz, Amanda Blumenherst and Gwladys Nocera.
Moving into the top of the pecking order among those who started the season in Category 13 and below are:
145. Sarah Jane Smith
146. Diana D’Alessio
147. Stephanie Louden
148. Carin Koch
149. Ashli Bunch*
150. Michelle Ellis
151. Tanya Dergal*
152. Paola Moreno*
153. Brandie Burton*
154. Libby Smith
[*] - Cashed 1st paycheck last weekend

Howdy Ice...Sorry to be so dumb
on all these CATAGORIES….That said, I remember either reading or hearing that 3 of these ladies were up and comers…Burton, Ellis and Louden….why are they so far down the food chain here?….STUB
you get placed in catagories by finishes on the DFT or at Q-school or by your results from the previous LPGA season. You can be an up and comer and not play well at Q-school – which just makes it tougher to up and come. :-)
