PrintThe always observant TXQ sent me an e-mail last night while I was out at happy hour asking me about a Nationwide Tour player named Michael Sims. He wanted to know if the PGA Tour's website had made a terrible mistake. It's Michael Sim, right? The Australian dude. And, besides, he's on the PGA Tour now, no?
Well, that's how I replied to TXQ. I seriously believed that the Tour had made a hilarious error. Nope, they didn't. There really is a Michael Sims on the Nationwide Tour. He's from Bermuda and went to University of Rhode Island.
Michael Sim, the Australian, is all set for next year on Tour thanks to his runner-up finish at Torrey Pines earlier in the year.

And Simmy’s is on the PGA Tour this year…..but been injured. He had to pull out of his first US Masters with a shoulder injury.
He’s at the US Open this week but struggling to get back into some form.
