I Had No Idea That Bret Michaels Played on the European Tour
Why has no one yet told me that the head wrap - made popular by the bands that comprise the Power Ballads compilation - had made its way to pro golf? It hasn't?
Leave it to the Swedes to come up with bizarre new head wear. Pelle Edberg of Sweden is top five in this week's Euro Tour event in Spain. He doesn't get a lot of starts on the Tour, but his good play this week has given him some air time.
Take a look at what he wore yesterday.
If I didn't know any better, I'd swear the guy had brain surgery or some kind of massive head contusion. It's as though he escaped from a mental institution, shed the straight jacket, hailed a caddy, and just started playing the European Tour. The people at the Tour just didn't have the heart to tell him that he wasn't playing for money.
The head wrap is like a visor, but has absolutely no ability to keep the sun out of your eyes. Can you only imagine the kind of tan line that this guy has on his head? The guy gives new meaning to the term "farmer's tan".
I'm not going to make a Bret Michaels stroke remark, but, well, this speaks for itself.

I think it's a injury!
Sure looks like he just got out of surgery with that on his head! Maybe he got hit in the head with a ball.
