LPGA Player Erica Blasberg Has Died

LPGA player Erica Blasberg has passed away, tour spokesman David Higdon confirmed this afternoon. According to fellow LPGA player Maria Hjorth, Blasberg passed away yesterday. She was 25.
Clark County, Nevada police have not stated a cause of death because of an ongoing investigation. Blasberg was found dead in her home, according to a police spokesperson.
Blasberg played just a week ago on the LPGA Tour, finishing tied 44th place at the Tres Marias Championship. She did not have full status on the LPGA Tour this season.
Blasberg was a standout at Arizona during her collegiate career, including Player of the Year honors in 2003.

She wasn’t that old….and not to be disrespectful, but she was one of the hotties that made the tour watchable….RIP….and condolences to the family…she will indeed be sorely missed….STUB

Sad, very sad.
Hopefully the cause of death was some unknown health issue. Way too young.
