GROUP 32 - 1:53 - A. Scott, D. Duval, R. Barnes
My groups of intrigue are pretty clear:
The Tiger Group - Woods goes off at 1:42 pm (so we can see his second nine live) with KJ Choi and '98 playing partner Matt Kuchar.
The Who's Your Daddy Group - Kenny Perry, at 49, is older than Rory McIlroy and Camilo Villegas combined.
The We're Happy to Be Here Group - David Duval, Adam Scott, and Ricky Barnes have all shown signs of life recently, but don't expect them to contend at all.
The Open Rematch - From the final Saturday pairing at Turnberry, Tom Watson and Steve Marino see each other again. I say Watson wins this time, too.
The Sneaky Contenders - Ryan Moore, Nick Watney, and Ross Fisher are all young and pretty accomplished. None has really come close to winning a major, and all could this week. No, seriously.
The Holy Sh*t Group - Quiros, Dustin Johnson, and Oliver Wilson are just going to murder the ball this week. No clue where it will land, but assuredly, it will be 300 yards from the tee.
Big name groups of note include the Els, Kim, Ishikawa group and the Cink, Harrington, Schwartzel crew. Don't forget the very intriguing Mickelson, Yang, Allenby pairing.

Should be a fun first two rounds
How about Wier, Westwood, and Manassero ? Looks like fun. It’ll be interesting to see how Manassero does his first time around Augusta National.
I’d take your bet on Watson and Marino – Watson did well at The Open because length wasn’t as important as it is at Augusta.

Some mouth-watering groups
Can’t wait. Thank goodness I don’t have too early a tee-time on Friday as coverage doesn’t start here until 9.00 p.m. thru to 12.45 a.m.
Well, I had KJ and Kucher,
on my Fantasy team, but seeing now they are playing with Tiger, I’ve changed them. KJ might handle the circus, but Kucher won’t make the cut after 2 days in the center ring. Does anyone know the medical status of Casey?
The Saints ARE the SUPER BOWL CHAMPS....WHO DAT!
This was a difficult week to pick…Em, I’m not giving up on Kuch, but I did put him as a back up player. And I LOVE Stricker, but how do you not put Tiger on the squad? And what about Phil? I know his game hasn’t been all there yet, but he loves Augusta, Augusta loves him, and that birdie run last week was impressive. And then there’s Freddie – I don’t know, I’ve just got this feeling! SO many choices!!
I write about golf at www.tees2greens.com, too.
Red.....
I know what you’re saying. I didn’t want to pick Tiger, but everyone else will be picking him. Phil hasn’t been out of the top 10 at the Masters for many years, so I have Phil starting and Tiger on the bench. As I said, Kucher was a starter for me until I saw the pairings and I deleted him completely……playing with Tiger for 2 days will be too much to overcome. The distractions will be enormous……so KJ and Kuch got screwed in the pairings……they should have called me, I would have played with Tiger just so the other pros didn’t have too……lol

Hey Ryan,
Are we going to have a Fantasy post this week? I need a place to cry about my future hall of fame fantasy team not showing up!!!!! I picked Tiger…..figured that would be the kiss of death for him….lol

Paul Casey
Someone was wondering about Paul Casey after he pulled out at Houston.
Just got off the phone with a media friend over in Augusta. Word is that Casey just slept wrong on the shoulder on Tuesday in Houston, and didn’t want to take a chance on having problems at The Masters. He’s ready to go for a run at the green jacket.

Well, you just lost your money
cause I picked them both, and when I pick someone, it’s right into the loo with them….STUB
Plenty of exciting groups.
I’d agree with you re. Ryan Moore, Ross Fisher and Nick Watney. Don’t forget that Fisher would probably have won at Turnberry last year were it not for one bad hole last year and he had a strong showing at Bethpage, too. Seems to have a game made for the majors.
Don’t expect Oliver Wilson to hit it 300 yards this week, Ryan! Or any week for that matter…
