Dan Jenkins Apologizes for YE Yang Remark on Twitter
Last week, we told you about the back and forth between legendary golf writer Dan Jenkins, PGA Champion YE Yang, Golf Digest magazine, and the Asian-American community about Jenkins' tweet during the Masters that joked that he had received a take out order from Yang.
That was kind of offensive to some people, myself included. Golf Digest's Jerry Tarde issued an apology last week, not that he owed anyone one. The real apology had to come from Jenkins, and it came on Saturday while I was in Vegas.
"Anyone who has read me over the years recognizes that satire and poking fun have been an essential part of my writing. I've been an equal opportunity fun-poker. But I realize in this case that I made a hasty attempt at humor and unfortunately crossed the line of good taste and hurt people who I respect," Jenkins said on Golf Digest's Editors Blog.
"To Y. E. Yang and the Asian community, I want to apologize sincerely and ask them to forgive my mistake."

And That Should Be The End of THAT
Enough said by Mr. Jenkins. He manned up, owned up and said he was sorry.
Anything more is just witch hunting by the PC Police.
Yup, that’s it. And don’t do it again.
