Feel Like A Southern Bazillionaire & Buy This Augusta National Green Jacket

PrintThe way that you know someone is a member of Augusta National during the Masters is that they are wearing a green jacket. (They're very polite and helpful, but man, do they gotta feel that it is beneath them when I ask them to point the way to the nearest phone bank.) Champs get green jackets. Closers get green jackets. Now you, too, can have a green jacket.
American Memorabilia has a gen-u-ine (not Genuine) green jacket up for auction between now and Thursday. Four bids have been placed so far and the damage is less than 2Gs. It's a size 50, so if you're a lady itching to go to your next costume, Halloween, or Halfaween party as the first female member of Augusta National, it's not going to look natural. And Condi Rice is much to petite to fool everybody that she got in.
But that just narrows down the bidding pool! Why don't we pool our money together, win the jacket as a team, and I'll mail it out to each person so they can wear it for an equal share of the year.

Umm – “southern bazillionaire” ??? You do know that most of the membership at ANGC doesn’t live in Augusta and quite a few of the members whose names were made public are not southern.

We have to draw line somewhere……it’s gotta be $10 minimum, for a 5 minutes stint with the jacket. And for the sake of the everyone…..no eating, bathroom visits or sex while wearing the jacket…..you WILL sign an agreement.
