We Have Jim Nantz's Cliche Sketchbook from the Masters
Waggle Room has exclusively obtained the doodling paper that CBS Sports anchor Jim Nantz used on the night before the final round of the Masters to determine which cliche he would use depending on who won the Masters. It is a revealing find.

Even though that’s a clear fake, that’s hee-f’n-larious.
I especially like the Gus Johnson thing. Nantz is pablum compared to Johnson in the NCAA, and quite honestly, Gus should be calling the final four and not Nantz.
OMP.......I knew
immediately it was bogus…..Nance would have written with crayons…….Did any one else notice the weird faces he was making during the Butler cabin Green Jacket ceremony???? I was afraid he was getting ready to have a seizure…….
The Saints ARE the SUPER BOWL CHAMPS....WHO DAT!
Is that round ball your talking OMP?
If it is, why don’t you keep Nantz over there….Round ball deserves him…the two were just made for each other….both losers….If ya can’t play golf, ya play round ball…Jeeech…lol j/k…STUB
In the inimitable words of Will Smith in “Independence Day”: “awwww HELL NO!”
Gus Johnson is the best hoops play by play guy out there, period. Nantz is ok, but he’s no Gus.

I admit I was gullible
(not really knowing a lot about Nantz and nothing at all about Gus Johnson), and thought it was hilarious; the “friends” bit down the side did make me wonder if it was a joke, but thank goodness I read the first line of OMP’s post. I don’t understand a word of the rest of the post (or indeed most of the other posts), however. It’s just not playing cricket to confuse me like this.
It was like a typical episode of
“Everybody Loves Raymond,” cuz every line worked.
Did any one else see where Nantz
called out Tigar for his language and actions today….yup…said, “if i talked on the air like that, I’d be fired”…kind of sounded like he had had enough also…well, he’s one of the crowd that has given the passes to his majesty, now what do they expect….some rhetoric like Court puts out??….STUB
