Mickelson Makes Back-to-Back Eagles at 13 & 14
What just happened in the third round of the Masters has only happened twice before in the tournament's history. First, Phil Mickelson made eagle after hitting a 305 yard drive on 13, sticking his 205 yard approach to 7 feet, and making the eagle. Then on the fourteenth hole, after a perfect drive, Mickelson hit his 139 yard approach exactly 139 yards and into the hole for eagle.
Two players in Masters history have made consecutive eagles. Dan Pohl did so in the '82 third round on the same holes as Mickelson, and Dustin Johnson did the feat last year.
No player has ever made three straight eagles, but Mickelson has an opportunity to do so at 15.

The Saints ARE the SUPER BOWL CHAMPS....WHO DAT!
I am so damm jealous...
I couldn’t hit it to 6 inches (guys this is the benchmark) if they gave me 6 tries…If anyone can’t understand how good these guys are, they have to be a bit comatose…The ability to control distances with different clubs is absolutely fantastic….STUB
Wow is right...
Just incredible, and what a day overall. I think Westwood is going to have his hands full with Phil tomorrow.
Fight for your opinions, but do not believe that they contain the whole truth, or the only truth.

very entertaining
I hadn’t watched any of the previous rounds. I picked up today just after Westwood/Poulter made the turn. That was fun to watch, so much so there’s no chance I won’t tune in for the final round.
Placebos, of course, are things you have to swallow even though they contain nothing that actually helps you. It's like American health insurance in a pill. -BiPM
D.....I hear ya......
I was working today and had the TV on in my office…..so I watched, and Phil was a Thrill. I would have liked to have played today, but I am buried with work right now. Tomorrow…..I’ll probably play and maybe DVR Phil’s 3rd Green Jacket…..we’ll see.

Awwwa poor em
had to work…But he has his TV on in his office.;…I give him as much sympathy as i do Jumpin…..It’s called tough love guys…hahaha…lol It grabs my arse, cause I can’t really play anymore…from a complete knee replacement with stainless steel & Teflon, to pulled muscles in my back to a right rotor cuff tear and a right knee that grinds bone to bone…Add that to just getting plain dammed old and you get my picture….I’m not complaining mind you, I just find it a real pain in the Arse and an embarrassment when I try to do what I did for 70 some years, and now can’t… I guess that’s why I admire those that can…I had a good run, and enjoyed myself along the way…Phil playing the way he is is fun to watch…just hope he can keep it up and not self destruct….God bless all….and keep swingin smooth….STUB
