I don’t know if it is a tapas-style menu, though.

No Ryan, no Tapas

Blood sausage

that is how you separate the men from the boys.

The whole menu looks amazing.

Switz...it is amazing..

I just am wondering who the chefs are going to be…I wouldn’t think that this is something the chefs from Augusta National do on a regular basis…not typical fare for the members…this is Spanish dining at it’s finest…Angel is pulling out all the stops…STUB

Yummee!

Smashing menu. Black pudding with full English brekkie is great – better still with scallops on top!

Looks delicious – AND – this could be a good way to thin out the crowds following the past champions…nobody light a match ! :-D

Wendy, you said you had

a sister-in-law who lived in Corsica? If you got to visit her very often, Angels menu would be very familiar, right?…STUB

by thinker on Mar 30, 2010 5:24 PM EDT up reply actions

Nope - Corsica is French (with Italian undertones)

but I have eaten the empanadas, salads, flan and panqueque many a time in mainland Spain. The stew and grilled meats with Chimichurri sauce are more Argentinian than Spanish however.

Nothing new, I cook er make

that PREPARE THE MEAL every evening….To night, it’s Italian…Goes well with lots of good red wine….STUB

Memories

This reminds me of my three years in Argentina. The beef was incredible and at the time cost less per kilogram than here per pound. But where is the mate (think of it as a herb tea).

by tatkins on Mar 31, 2010 12:35 PM EDT reply actions

A nice glass of Malbec

would go better for me. Think Mate is quite an acquired taste even for tee-totallers?
Not that I have actually tasted it though.

I have some lemon grass mate that is delicous and has a nice caffeine-like kick – nice since I don’t drink coffee.
