Blair O'Neal Wins Completely Arbitrary Competition to Name Hottest Female Golfer
Bleacher Report, the bastion of journalistic integrity whose often plagiarized work is now sitting alongside the work of professionals in sports sections in San Francisco and Houston, has struck again. Their investigative unit has done the due diligence to name Blair O'Neal as the hottest female golfer. If you'll remember, Blair also won ingamenow's competition for hottest female athlete.
Having met Blair, I'm not going to question the results. Of the 25, I know, have met, interviewed, or are followed on Twitter by nine. Not too bad for ole Blogger McBloggerson.
As it turns out, a lot of girls that work with Play Golf Designs and our buddies Nisha & Seema Sadekar were on the list.
Feel free to debate the results or fill in the blanks in the comments section. After you do that, though, remember that Bleacher Report will be featured in real newspapers. Lovely.

Bleacher Report in the papers is one of those deals that make you understand why papers are dying.
As for Blair, yes, she is extremely pretty. But to me, “hot” is a lot more than just looks. Maybe I spent too many afternoons in a photo studio with porcelain faced silicone sisters in bikinis so tiny that it would make a 14 year old chew off his arm to take my place, but a lot of so-called “beautiful” young ladies are just undereducated and self-centered narcissistic bulemics that can’t carry on any kind of a conversation that doesn’t center on how hot they are. Yes, that’s a generalization, and many of the models I met and got to know were extremely intelligent and quite well-rounded indeed, but far too many poster girls were just…vacuous ice princesses.
On the other hand, there are ladies who can melt the pavement beneath their feet because they have that je ne sais quoi — that something or other going on that just makes them….sexy. They had it going on inside their head, with their figure, with their style and with the way they could be interesting in a thousand different ways.
Big big difference between the two and a grown man prefers the latter.
Not saying that Blair isn’t that, but I am definitely saying that it takes a lot more than looks to be “hot.”
now wait just a minute !
Blair isn’t just a model who swings a golf club now and then…she’s not going to be a professional golfer very long. This girl is multi-faceted. Just last year, she played QUARTERBACK for the Las Vegas Lingerie Football League team ! :-)
Still – that isn’t an article about “well rounded” or “golfer-babe with a future in rocket science” – it’s strictly on looks alone. It does seem like the winner should be someone with actual professional experience outside of The Big Break.
"this ball will fit in that fairway"
Like I said, Court, a kid judges a woman on way more than just her looks.
Ice princesses are a lot less fun than they look. And this I say from experience.

The offer still stands, OMP: I want you to do a whole series of posts about working with models. It has absolutely nothing to do with golf, and sometimes this site needs that.

Let me catch up on a few things like finishing ACC season and the tourney, and then I will start putting those together.
I gotta tell you guys, some of the ladies were simply awesome people. Others, well, not so much.
