Blogger Spots & Interrupts John Daly on Course, Not Arrested & Has Great Time

Real Women Golf's Heather Jones just happened to be in Florida on a golf vacation from frigid and God forsaken Ohio. She was on the course, enjoying her round, when but who should appear? John Daly. So, she did what any golf blogger would do: went up to him to say hello! And Daly (and his playing pals) were more than gracious.

Heather's friend documented the visit with video.

Listen Up

First of all, JD & his buds saw us coming a mile away. Second, the guy swinging was a great sport and we shared M&M’s later after they watched me play on another hole. He insisted I go ahead and he hit an amazing shot regardless. He wasn’t distracted in the least. I guess these guys were a little more focused than other readers might be on the course. ;o)

It's All Good

Nice job, by the way. For most people those opportunities don’t come along everyday. A Million years ago, prior to me being in the business of golf, I had a by chance run-in on a course in Florida with Chi Chi. We were in the group behind him for 7 holes before we even realized it. Nice man he was to us. Somewhere I have an autographed glove he gave me that day. :o)
