Exclusive Photos from Round 1 of Arnold Palmer Invitational
Rob Matre shot some incredible photos (per usual) on day one of the Arnold Palmer Invitational at Bay Hill. The full gallery is available here - and you should check out all of the pics - but here are some of my favorites. Click on each image to view it full size.

Excellent
Now this is the types of things I prefer to see in here. Some interesting little known facts on the players in an article form would be great also. Maybe one a week or one a month.
Bio
foundations and charities
off course activities, other sports interest ect.
"pain is only weakness leaving the body"
It’s kind of funny that you mention that. Not that I’m catering to anyone, but the Tour and I have agreed to a relationship where I interview a play each week with some quick questions to get to know them better. Stay tuned for that.

Haha, sounds tasty! But in all seriousness, I’ve been trying to put something together with the Tour a la what we’re doing with the LPGA. They’ve both been great to work with on this.

I have quite a few tasty tour player stories....
But those damn confidentiality agreements sure can be appetite ruiners.

LOL nice try
I’ll have to read the fine print in the agreements. Trust and Integrity is something that is earned over time and isn’t replaceable. I have a few clients that probably won’t mind, but for sure I will ask first. Heck, they sure don’t get much publicity in the Main Stream Media these days, so maybe they will see it as an opportunity. { : o)

OK Handi...what did you do now?
Ryan, was there any fee involved to get that “relationship”..I think something like this is outstanding to us “true FANS” of the sport as it were…Going to get pics or just articles?…STUB
of COURSE there was a fee...
…didn’t you see that RB’s signing up for the first plane to Cuba to pick up cigars ? :-)
"this ball will fit in that fairway"
CG, even with all the loot
RB makes as a WGAA scribe, if all he was doing was picking up cigars, he better stay home…Dammed expensive at about 16.00 @ puro…STUB
Interesting Website
I hope its ok to put up this educational link. Last night at Bay Hill, I met a very interesting older gent who was 87 and we discussed the evolution of Golf Equipment. Needless to say, (but I will anyway) lol , he has seen a lot of it over the years. Good story teller he was and I only wish I had a tape recorder. Anyway he gave me this website to look at and I thought it was worth posting in here. Yes they do sell stuff in there, but I thought the history of the golf ball page was very cool. check it out http://www.thedesignshop.com/history.htm
