Dottie Pepper Says Christina Kim Has Ochocinco Syndrome

In a mostly positive article in the San Diego Union Tribune regarding Christina Kim's soon to be released book, Tod Leonard shared Dottie Pepper's thoughts on the fiery player:

[F]ormer LPGA star Dottie Pepper accused Kim of having "Ochocinco syndrome" and wrote in a column for Sports Illustrated: "I know Christina Kim loves the galleries and is a ham, but she should be a little more respectful of the game. In the NFL, she’d have been given 18 excessive celebration penalties."

Kim didn't care for that and tweeted:

Between this and 'choking freakin' dogs', Pepper probably doesn't have to update her pasport for 2011 Solheim Cup coverage in Ireland.

read the rest of the article – apparently CK isn’t the most mature bully on the block, either. she cries that she might embarrass people from the book – then turns around and takes a shot at an Aussie at the Ladies Masters.

seems she can dish it out – but can’t take it.

The worst part was the takedown Kim did to a fan that follows her on twitter and was trying to be encouraging. Overreact much?

I say ^ 5's to CK

Good for her. Dottie should mind her own business.

It’s ok for CK to act the way she does on the course and publicly ridicule another player like she did ?

I'm very okay with the way Kim conducts herself on the course...

especially at the Solheim Cup.

I don’t see any difference between her antics and Boo Weekely’s at the last Ryder Cup. And everyone loves Boo.

by TwoNuse on Mar 24, 2010 7:00 AM EDT up reply actions

Except that Weekely did it once on the first tee and waved his arms a couple of other times. CK was shakin’ the booty and jumping up and down every time they won a hole – and there were a few times when it was when her opponents were preparing to hit a shot or there was action going on at a close by hole.

She just wasn’t very considerate of her opponents or the surrounding holes.

MOST of the time – I’m with you – she is effervescent…but can be a bit inconsiderate.

No worries Ryan. I stole it from someone else years ago.

Everything I do is stolen from somebody. I

haven’t had an original thought since 1972. (and that one sucked)

CK can be a little much sometimes.

I remember when she and I had it out on Twitter not too long ago for my critique of her playful attitude. She just doesn’t really get it most of the time, but for the most part is relatively harmless.

Handi...

I remember witn Ms’ Pepper was playing, and some of the oaths she muttered, along with the occasional club throw…I don"t think she has too much room to criticize anyone for behavior…let her just comment/report on the golf….STUB

I'll take Dottie's oaths

over CK’s petty, childish, vain, petulant behaviour any day. One is a woman, the other is a silly little showoff.

My, I think I may be getting the hang of making trouble :o)

Thrashed him today

OK – won on 9th hole. Any further indiscretions to you will merit more severe treatment.

OK – I don’t really dislike CK that much although she’s not “my cup of tea”, but I do find a few of the young American ladies more immature than their world counterparts.

by WendyUK on Mar 26, 2010 5:12 PM EDT up reply actions

I don't mind CK too much

sometimes she is over the top. But she showed class applauding Mathew down the last when she won the British Open. Shes young and has to grow up as we all had to. But Pepper ? Can’t stand the woman. Her etiquette when she played was nothing to admire. She showed the ugly side of her personality far too often when she teed it up. To call a player a chokin dog like she did says everything about her.
