PGA Tour WAGs Now Have A Facebook Fan Page
When I first went to cover a PGA Tour event in 2003 at the Players Championship, I took in a lot of sights from the whole tournament. I scoured Sawgrass to really understand the course. I spent a good amount of time in the media center to get free cookies. And I stood in the parking lot to see two things: the awesome cars and the beautiful women.
Plain and simple: pro golfers have some sweet wheels and bombshell wives & girlfriends (WAGs). Now, the WAGs have their own Facebook page. The PGA Tour Wives Association has a Facebook page that kicked off a couple of weeks ago and, since they're better looking than me, have as many fans as Waggle Room's fan page.
No, you won't find swimsuit shots of the ladies in action. In fact, most of the posts are about the great charitable work that the group does at various PGA Tour stops. But maybe someone will slip and post some of the charity beach volleyball tournament?
For now, though, the best we have is pics from a bowling outing at the Honda Classic.
I still became a fan in hopes that the PGA Tour WAGs will be even remotely as entertaining as the NBA WAGs show on Video Hits 1 or the soccer WAGs programme overseas.

WOW,
did anyone besides me see that they were all wearing the same shirt? Put that many women in the same room wearing the same clothes? OMG, that’s asking for trouble…STUB
"RYAN, THANKS"
For bringing attention to the wives of many of the tour players that do so much for charity. I’ve know about it for some time now and was going to do a blog about it a few weeks ago and forgot. It’s unfortunate that a lot of the media attention these days is focused on a single individual and because of that this type of charitable giving goes by unoticed. Sad really. Pehaps once a week or once a month you could do a blog about an individual player and the foundations that they started and charities that they support. I know quite a few players that have many. Phil for starters has three. Cabrera has one and the listr goes on and on. Everyone knows that TW has a foundation and for the most part thats the only foundation that most people hear about. It would be nice if the golf fans and others coulfd hear about the rest once in a while. Thanks Again !!!

Is there any other sport
which raises/donates so much to charity? Genuine question. Most if not all of the tour players I follow see to have their own foundations/charities and play for other golfers charities as well. As I do not follow US football/baseball, etc, I am ignorant of their contributions.
You are correct Wendy
I just wish they would get mentioned a little more often here in the USA. Perhaps the broadcast stations in the UK do a better job of it.

Eh, not as exciting as soccer WAG's in Europe or NFL wives
since golfers aren’t exactly known for hooking up randomly on weekends, etc…plus, wives usually go with the golfers
