That’s pretty darn cool. Good for him….but “demoted” ? Too bad he didn’t do the volunteer caddy job and drive three bags around all day. :-)

have left it at thanking him for looping for her instead of worrying about more tour cards…If she plays well enough, she’ll earn one…STUB

The PGA Tour hands out cards to the top 25 Nationwide Tour players each year with a guarantee they’ll get into enough events to keep the card if they play well. The LPGA, on the other hand, gives out five to FUTURES Tour players (the other five are symbolic because they’ll never get into a tournament unless they Monday-qualify).

If Whan just wanted to carry a bag, he could lug his own around. He’s looping to learn about the Tour and the players first hand. More cards would be an appropriate topic during his time with the women, as would exploring ways to expand sponsorship so that developing players don’t starve. .

Placebos, of course, are things you have to swallow even though they contain nothing that actually helps you. It's like American health insurance in a pill. -BiPM

OK DM, as with

any sport (game) the best survive…that was my whole point…play WELL ENOUGH and earn one of the 5 cards…otherwise , it’s like the fringe players on the PGA….make enough to live better than the other 98% of the working stiffs…Did you know that only 2% of the working public make 150,000 or more…the rest considerably less…The more cards given to mediocre players, the more deluted it all becomes….STUB
