Tiger to Return at 2010 Masters
The headline says it all. TW will be back to professional golf at the Masters and not a second before then. No Tavistock Cup or Arnold Palmer Invitational, just a place with azaleas and green jackets. Oh, and a controlled atmosphere.

A few things.
1) Glad to have him back to golf. Love him or hate him, you want the top players in any sport to be participating
2) Nice to have this out of the way. Don’t have to listen to people expound on when they think TW is coming back and why
3) I thought he might go with a tune up appearance somewhere, but the solitude of Augusta may be what he was looking for more so that a chance to sharpen the claws prior to real competition.
4) I hope this doesn’t turn the Masters into a media/social spectacle. I just want the golf please.
about #4 – you can count on the people at Augusta National to keep a tight lid on the media and especially who is allowed on the grounds. gallery behavior will be well monitored, too.
Remember the Martha Burke circus ? They were given a place to do their protest…almost a mile away from the course. These guys aren’t dummies.
"this ball will fit in that fairway"
CG, an;y bets
on how long Ol Timmy has known about this?…One jackass deserves another, or as is commonly said…Birds of a feather flock together….STUB
Thanks, Tiger
I don’t watch much PGA Tour, but I do like the Masters. I guess I won’t watch this year because the entire broadcast, for as many days as he plays, will be nothing but Woods. If he farts or picks his nose the media will spend hours analyzing it. The powers that be may control who has access but they can’t stop CBS, or any other outlet, from making fools of themselves.
Placebos, of course, are things you have to swallow even though they contain nothing that actually helps you. It's like American health insurance in a pill. -BiPM
