T-Joh racking up sky miles in the early season
The Duramed season is just about to start, and Tiffany Joh will be trying to earn her way onto the LPGA Tour through the money list. She did, however, get a sponsor's exemption into the Kia Classic in San Diego - which is the week after the first DFT tournament.
Check out this travel schedule from her web site...
"Seriously, though, are you going to fly to FL for the DFT season-opener the week before?"
"yep fly out monday, play that week, fly back to sd play the kia classic, fly back to fl, play the daytona event, fly back to sd, drive car to texas…just living the dream!"

Court,
something just hit me on the travel schedule…This is a Duramed tour player, right? there’s enough flights here to wear out a seasoned traveler…These girls don’t make that kind of money even if they win the event…Where is all the money coming from to pay for airline travel, lodging, food, etc…Is someone doing a financial backing here?,,,,STUB
Tiffany Joh is one of those players with enough of an amateur resume that she can draw backing even to play on the DFT. I don’t know if she takes the hotel route on the DFT stops all the time. A lot of the tournaments try to help as many of the girls as possible with housing.
I’m in the crowd who thinks that once she gets her game tuned in for the pro game, she’s going to do some real damage on the LPGA Tour…and they could use someone with her personality and broad talents.
Check out the song she wrote for the Duramed Tour last year… http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IWOY9o_HBPg
She’s a San Diego native, and a UCLA standout, with a lot of national and international experience and wins – which is probably why she got the invite to the Kia.
"this ball will fit in that fairway"
HA,HA,HA
That was great…this just shows what sheltered, lives we live in tight knit groups…I had never heard of her…I think it would be interesting if Bill J. did bio’s on the girls…he’s good at that sort of thing…would give the rest of us insight into where the next super stars might come from…My wife and I used to have a bunch of the girls stay at our place when they played the events here in Dallas…Were great personalities, and I can remember, they sure could eat Ice Cream….STUB
