Kid's got game !
This is the kind of talent that is going to challenge Tiger’s dominance…but it keeps coming from places other than the US. McIlroy, Ishikawa, now Manassero.
"this ball will fit in that fairway"
Dunno court,
you have Kim and Fowler…and more on the way I’m sure. These things, as you know, go in cycles.
AK’s an old fart now – he’s 25 ! :-)
These other guys are all 20 and under. I hope Manassero doesn’t go the way of Justin Rose. It took him a long time to get his form back after his close call at The Open. I figured he would be an annual winner on the US Tour by now.
Next 4 or 5 years, we’re going to see a lot of new blood thanks to the golf explosion from Tiger.

I agree
Rose had a few good years and almost won the Masters. But this new breed seem almost Tiger like in their approach to the game. Rose as a boy was in the Faldo era. AK and old fart ? I think I may be older than you, but I dread to think what I might be, lol.
Great players are by then...
Tiger, Seve, Jack…mind you, I am not putting AK with that lot. I guess AK at 25 and me at 52 made me take stock, lol
Easing,
gawd, I didn’t know you were just a spring lamb….used to be that at 25 you were just starting to get it going…before that, they did their stint in some pro shop to pay the bills…In the Hogan, Sneed, Nelson era, all pros had day jobs at some clubs…paid the bills…some clubs were better than others at letting the head pro go play a tournament….there were some damm fine pros that their clubs said they couldn’t go play…but that was long ago…sigh!!! older than dirt, ..STUB
The Molinari Brothers...
and now Matteo. Does Italy have some kind of golf development program that’s now coming into it’s own or is it just coincidence?
The last Itallian at the top was Costantino Rocca
I’d say coincidence. Stub;, it’s got to be in Scotland. For a golfer, it is home.
