Breaking down the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am celebrities
Below is a full listing of the celebrities that are taking part in this week's AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am. The Bob Hope Classic took some heat from bloggers and the press about the lack of real "celebrity" presence. Pebble historically draws the upper echelon of celebrities and athletes. Although looking at the list below there are a number of people who when I read their name had to say to myself, "WHO DAT?"
Harris Barton
Former professional football
I'm a football fan, but WHO DAT? Had to Google him.
Chris Berman
Sportscaster – ESPN
I would be annoyed as hell to play with Berman. After every shot... "There it goes, back back back back..."
Michael Bolton
Musician
Unlike his song, I can certainly "live without" him.
Tom Brady
Professional football
Here's a tip for CBS this weekend. Have Gisele caddy for Tom Terrific. Talk about increased viewership.
Brandi Chastain
Professional soccer
Think she would tear off her shirt after making a clutch putt? One could only hope.
Don Cheadle
Actor
Good actor who has not made a good film probably since Hotel Rwanda.
Eric Close
Actor
WHO DAT?
Jeffrey Donovan
Actor
WHO DAT?
Tom Dreesen
Comedian
WHO DAT?
Josh Duhamel
Actor
He used to be on one of my favorite guilty pleasures, "Las Vegas" on NBC. Now he's better known as Mr. Fergie.
Jackie Flynn
Comedian
WHO DAT?
Kenny G
Musician
As much as I'd like to rip this guy, the dude has some serious golf game. Silly hair and all.
Andy Garcia
Actor
Great actor, probably mostly known for the Oceans 11 movies, but my favorite of his is "Things to do in Denver when you're dead".
Thomas Gibson
Actor/Director
WHO DAT?
Vince Gill
Musician
Not being a country music fan, I'll reserve judgment.
Carmine Giovinazzo
Actor
WHO DAT?
Oliver Hudson
Actor
Probably more well known for being Kate's brother. Solid golfer who just played in the Hope. Must not have much going on since his show, "Rules of Engagement" isn't due back on for a little while. Funny show by the way.
Huey Lewis
Musician
Think he's playing "Hip to be square-grooves"? I still love Huey Lewis and it killed me when I was talking to a 25 year old person who I used to work with and they had no clue who he was. Bring back 1985!
George Lopez
Actor/Comedian
Funny guy who is obsessed with playing golf. Assuming he's playing with his buddy Mike Weir?
Bill Murray
Actor
You can't have Pebble without Bill Murray. I'm sure he'll have some crazy get-up and antics up his sleeve.
Rob Morrow
Actor
WHO DAT?
Chris O’Donnell
Actor
Always plays Pebble, wonder if this year he'll have LL Cool J on his bag though.
John O’Hurley
Actor
This guy annoys the crap out of me, plain and simple. He just played the Hope too. I guess Family Feud isn't very time consuming for him.
Ray Romano
Actor
He used to be kind of funny. Not sure if he is anymore. He's Hank Haney's new "project". Can't do much worse than Sir Charles.
Tony Romo
Professional football
Probably the best player in the field I think. But my boy Tom is still a better QB!
Kelly Slater
Professional surfer
Seems to always play Pebble and has a really good golf game. What a life this guy must have huh? Surfing, hot chicks every where you go, AND golfing? Sign me up.
Clay Walker
Musician – Country
See comment on Vince Gill. However, I have no idea who this guy is. So WHO DAT?

Just let me know when Brooklyn Decker starts playing golf :-D
lol – good list – excellent call on Andy Garcia
come on – Jeffrey Donovan – star of “Burn Notice” – one of USA’s excellent set of shows the last few years.
No mention of Costner ? I thought Murray was out this year.
"this ball will fit in that fairway"
oh THAT Jeffrey Donovan!
haha, I know who is by sight, but didn’t recognize the name. I got that list from the tournament website. Not sure how up to date it is. http://www.attpbgolf.com/players/celebrities.php

Definitely B, C, and D-listers are playing
and I’m going to h*ll with this comment but I won’t miss that Vegas comic that passed away.
He was not funny at all, may he RIP.
Nibs,
CG is really a frustrated “spy” and that’s why he knows all about that stuff…I think that show is probably one of the best they have now,,,burn notice, that is…criminal minds sometimes gets a little deep…I sometimes wonder where all the material for these shows come from…STUB
