Who Thinks it's still COOL to yell "it's in the hole" anymore?

Hasn't this trend passed us by? Who in their right mind thinks it's funny to say " it's in the hole" no matter what par the hole is? It should be in the USGA rule book that this particular person who is caught saying something so moronic and not funny be banished to bathroom duty at one of the tour events in the last hour in a rain storm. I swear that if i was even remotely in the vicinity of a person that said some sort or stupid comment like that it would be grounds for a beat down by any number of people standing around.
I guess it could be considered any fan that feels the need to follow the sheep or repeat something that was only mildly humorous the first time it was uttered be deemed that "guy" or "girl" that spent a lot of time at the dungeon and dragons conventions. So, in summation......if you come across this horrific event make it know to that person they are one step away from a 9 iron to the shins !! Take a pic of that person and lets get a blog or recorded people that do this and see what repeat offenders we have out there............please tell me i'm not the only one that feels this way?

I think it was the TW fans that started that stupid yelling anyway. His come back gives new meaning to that phrase if yelled while he’s on the course

It started in America before Tiger
it even crept over to Britain, I remember some fool shouting in at Royal Lytham in ‘96. After Tiger came alone it took new meaning. “In the hole” was spewed out on Tiger’s drive on a 480 yard par 4..this moron would account for quite a few of Tigers fans who never swung a club.
true, it was never cool so sorry for that title !! It’s the most annoying and idiotic thing a fan can say………hahahaha when tiger comes back it definitely will bring home a new meaning but that will just be the tip of what people will yell….should be interesting that’s for sure
