Teenie Boppers Golfing! Quick! Snap Some Photos!

You know, Tiger probably had it right when he lashed out at the papparazzi media for stalking his mom, Elin, and his daughter's pre-school.  (No, Tiger did not mean GWAA in his discussion of "media."  Of course, that didn't stop those kinds of reactions - "He earned it!")

Papparazzi are some weird folks.  Basically, since they're paid a commission based on how juicy and/or weirdly the pictures and rumors can be interpreted, everything has to be overheard or filmed.

And that's where we get some kind of golf outing with Nick Jonas and Selena Gomez.  Never heard of either of them?  Culture says that you're supposed to have by now!  The one guy is in a band with his brothers, I think.  The other sings, too, but she's like the new Hannah Montana.  And they went golfing together!

This picture pretty well encapsulates how I'm feeling these days.

On one hand, Gomez is another pop tart who’ll be lucky to miss the Cocaine Train like so many other Disney stars.

On the other, making golf “cool” for teenyboppers will inevitably bring in a few converts to the game. Probably a lot might try it and decide it’s not “cool” but a handful will fall in love with it and find a pastime for life.

Agree on both counts. But she looked like she was having a lousy time!

I've expunged the ones

where I’ve been the butt of your jokes, however, which reduces the archive dramatically.

HA!

The archives wouldn’t even exist without my giraffe clothes, polka dot underwear and singing antics. Why do I write about these things? I give him SO much good material. (including this comment, I’m sure)

Don't forget the 5 iron, Heather

Plus if you posted on here more often ………..

Some of us are hunters, some of us are

prey. Let us prey.

(Truth be told, you’re two of my fave e-folk.)

I said singing

I figured that included my infamous “5-Iron Theater” productions.

I’ll get on the posting thing, but I’m still delusional enough to think I might have a shot at the Legends tour someday. It’s practice (not posting) that makes perfect. :D

You've already made the cut

for the Legends In My Own Mind Tour.

It happened that day you made it to the top of the leaderboard. How your ball landed and rested on top of that leaderboard was simply amazing. Pure Heather.

how I'm feeling?

The last line got me. Why are you feeling down? Are you an emo now?
Or is it the golf that has got you feeling down.

You always come across as a barrel of energy – just find it hard to believe!

The golf – I’m very happy :)
