wrist – elbow – shoulder – back – knee – ankle – foot – neck – hips…how the heck do you injur your thumb swinging a golf club ? Is this just bad form on a high five ? An over zealous handshake at a pro-am ? An unfortunate hanger incident at the mall ? Ok, maybe not the last one. :-)

What a shame that is...
… she’s so young, but then she’s been playing since she was just a little girl.
That type of injury could really be detrimental to a golf career. Even more so than a knee or hip or back problem. And she’s been treating it with cortizone for a while, because the alternative – micro surgery on the hand – would have her out for the entire season and require her to re-work things. That must be so heartbreaking for her and her family.
LOL @ mall hanger incident
hahahaha, I’m a Paula fan for sure and even I found the mall hanger incident as funny. Carefull Court, you could get blamed for being a Hater. It happens to a lot of us that don’t jump on the TW or MW bandwagon. lol

Stub, em66 , Wie, Pettersen and me
LOL
Lets see I was just checking the leaderboard after day 2 of the ladies Honda PTT tournament. hmmmm. I see my girl Suzann Peterson is perched at the top of the leaderboard in the #1 spot. After a further search I see MW is T-13 jes sayin :o)

MW has a bandwagon?
Now that is a shopping cart. Can’t fit many in or on that wagon. Now that really was the hype-mobile. I wish Paula well, and Michelle too. Go Lorena!

There's an old sayin
here in the USA of Texas Jumpin….He that crows before breakfast, eats feathers before supper….Petterson will hit a couple sideways and go into her petulant routine and slide down the board….The Big Wieze is just taking her time to make the move….That was Lorena who? .STUB
Well Stub
Might I suggest that you get out your bottle of Stubbs BBQ Sauce http://www.stubbsbbq.com/original.php and get ready to feast on some feathery delicacy.
Yummmmmm stubbs bbq sause and feathers. :o)
"pain is only weakness leaving the body"
Well see that,
Ol Jumpin does know whats good…Stubbs is good stuff, from right here in the USA of Texas too…where you you and CG purchase same? ya might use that on pulled pork…with coleslaw, makes one great sandwich with a cold one of course….speaking of cold ones….I can sympathize with poor Paula…I once injured (dislocated really) my thumb whilst hoisting a large schooner of cold brew…darned thing did impede my swing for quite a while too….STUB
Publix carries it – and I’ve used it on burgers, ribs, roast…yum ! Just grill, baby !
Hmm – sounds like we need to invent an ergonomically correct beer schooner to prevent that injury

Yeah we keep it in the house all the time.
Its from Austin, Texas. A little thicker than I normally like for bbq sauce but you can’t beat the flavor. A customer of mine suggested it to me a couple of years ago and I’ve been hooked ever since. I eat mostly Seafood but when I have a burger, I thin out the sauce slightly and add some chunks of Blue Cheese and or Gorganzola. Taste so good , it makes your tongue jump out of your mouth and slaps ya in the face. I only wish Stubbs made a Shrimp Sauce for all that Gulf Shrimp Stub is gonna be owing me at the end of the LPGA season. :o)

Texan Moi ?
I was born in Nova Scotia, raised in Massachusetts and reside in Ponte Vedra Beach Fla. with a summer home in NH. Actually, I prefer a Cajun Dry Rub on my grilled Skrimp. It very much resembles a Low country type flovor.

CG, do you get the feeling
Ol Jumpin is a bit like a Heinz 57?..Kinda all over the place lol :)…If you want good, whilst constructing the burgers, dash some of Stubbs into the meat….Along with the chopped onions a course…then, form and grill that baby…Just make sure to keep a couple of cold ones handy…Oh heck, I forgot, Jumpin only does the Rum thing…well, heck…chill the rum…Jumpin is also a bit delusional, what with thinking he’s gonna win the bet..it happened when he fell into that cold bay while tying up the boat…Now wouldn’t ya think anyone born in Nova Scotia would be able to tie up a boat without falling in? hahaha…STUB
True Stub Very True
About the nose dive into Rockland Harbor and just like your gal MW, I had a perfectly good excuse. hahaha When I was a young teen I worked as a dock boy on Essex Marina in Essex, Ma. so your right I shouldn’t have any excuses. But hell, my brother and I were in a snow storm and I didn’t have the right deck boots to be hauling a boat in at that moment. lol Heinz 57 ? naaaahhh, I like to call it my" East Coast Swing"

As far as our wager goes
AHHHH, Well round 3 of the first week for the LPGA has been finished. It is being repeated on TGC today at 4:30 pm. SO I won’t tell you how bad your pick did. LOL But if you care to peek you can find it at LPGA.com

I’ve never thought about mixing the sauce into the burger – seems like a great idea !
Yup – Wiesy’s not off to a good start this year – but don’t be surprised if she puts up a very low round tomorrow and gets close to the top 10. That was her MO last year.
"this ball will fit in that fairway"
Last round is Daly's least favorite too,
if you catch my drift.
Congrats to Ai Miyazato
For winning the first official LPGA event of the season, shooting a very formitable nine under par, 63 on the final day to beat out Suzann Peterson who finished one shot back in second. Super day for Ai, 8 birdies, an eagle and just one bogey.
"pain is only weakness leaving the body"
Dammm !!!!
Congrats to Miyazato….Never in my life had 8 birdies and an eagle…WOW…sure am glad the Big Wieze is coming along just as I thought…Why peak for a club fight, when the main events are in sight…yuk, yuk, yuk…jist sayin Jumpin….Wendy, Peterson will get hers, right after the Big Wieze starts her run…STUB

Up here in Chicago
The local grocery store has STUBBS brand rubs. Even a Cajun one for fish. I grabbed some to take home to Fla. when I eventualy get there next weekend. Off to Vegas tomorrow and Scottsdale on Wednesday. Adios

One of the best things here
was getting away from the crazy Michelle Wie pro/con posts. Not getting at you in any way, Stub, as you just sound like a supporter, but it got very poisonous elsewhere.
