National Golf Kart Racing Association: An American Triumph
Count on CNN to find the awesomest possible application for golf carts other than parading around courses while two drunken pilots do donuts in fairways and bunkers. They've uncovered the National Golf Kart (cute with a K) Racing Association.
Founded in '09 and boasting 121 members, these titans of The Villages, Florida, pimp out golf carts so they can reach speeds of nearly 90 mph. Based upon the completely unsafe luge course in Vancouver that boasts the same speeds, albeit with less protection, it sounds kind of crazy.
CNN quotes Bryant Taylor, manager of a golf cart sales shop in Virginia, as saying, "People want competition and they want to show that they are more manly than other people. It's easy, cheap and simple to juice them up, so people are doing it."
It's that kind of logic and American competitive spirit that has meth labs popping up all around the South of these United States.

I can see
these juiced up carts right now, at a place like Sun City in AZ. where they already drive them on the roads….or some retirement community in Florida, where road rage takes over from walking cane dueling…All we need is for some Sr. to get killed or run over by one of these, and boy, watch the law suits fly against the ones doing the juicing…STUB
That's gonna
cost ya Jumpin….Yellow balls to em and Lobsters to yours truly….STUB
Welsh rugby player dropped
from team after being charged with drink-driving a golf buggy near to the team hotel. Well, it was a remarkable comeback to beat Scotland in Cardiff on Saturday.
