Annika v. Mia: Two One Name Sports Celebs Clash! (For Charity!)

Annika Sorenstam is incredible at golf.  Mia Hamm is incredible at soccer.  Put the two together in a water park and what do you get?  No, not a Nomar Garciaparra fantasy, but instead a soccer match for charity!

Next Friday, Annika and Mia will take on each other as part of two local clubs in a match to benefit the Mia Hamm Foundation.  It'll be a 20 minute exhibition that's part of a larger event called the Annika Experience at WaterSound.  That is a two day event at WaterSound centered around Annika to promote fitness and health for kids.

I mean, it's not quite the same event as Marisa Miller getting pantsed by Tom Arnold in a celebrity sand football game.

And it's not quite as hot as wrestler-dancer-actress Stacy Keibler playing in a celebrity soccer game.

But, it's all for a good cause, raises money for charity, and gives us a chance to see if Annika can play soccer. 

I wonder when Mia will take on Annika at golf, and if they'll be cool enough to broadcast it on UStream.
