PrintI don't normally talk about personal achievements on this website. I prefer to focus on the news (or what I perceive to be interesting). But I wanted to take a few seconds to let everyone know that I got into the Golf Writers Association of America.
This is a very exciting achievement for me, as a guy who runs a blog, to be admitted into this organization. I don't know how many guys and gals that write a blog are in the GWAA, but I am very excited to be one of them.
I'm very thankful to the good folks at the GWAA.

Congratulations on a great achievement. You deserve it….especially for putting up with all of us. Now, on a less exciting note….You are banned for writing an article about yourself…..lol…..Keep up the good work!!

I echo em’s remarks. You certainly deserve it, as hard as you work to keep up with all the crap that goes on in the golf world.
And maybe you’re banned from writing an article about yourself… but I see no reason you couldn’t put a “Member of the Golf Writers Association of America” label where everybody can see it. If they recognize you as being worthy of the honor, it’s only fair to let visitors to your blog know it. ;-)
