No Golf For Me Until February :(
You may remember me saying that I was going to have surgery on my wrist, and today was the day: my right hand had the transverse carpal ligament cut , which released pressure on the median nerve that was being crushed. The doctor said it was the worst he had seen in five years , and that it was a good thing that I had the procedure. I couldn't feel the tips of my fingers and things were only getting worse. I guess that's what 37 years of using computers nearly every day will do to you.
I can already feel my whole hand again, and this despite the swelling that having you palm sliced open will do to you. I'm typing with one finger on my left hand, so things are pretty slow as you might be able guess.
Anyway, please bear with me as I will be a little slower over the next couple of weeks. Thr sutures need to heal, and I don't want to slow the healing by rushing back to full action sooner than I should.
In the meantime, please accept my best wishes for you and yours to have a great Christmas!!!! I will be around here, even if I don't say much.
With warm regards,
Charles Boyer

Oh go on!
Anyone can have their hands bandaged! There’s nothing like a doctor saying it was the worst he/she had seen in x years to make one feel like a brave little soldier.
OK – teasing done. Surgery no fun. Speedy recovery, Charles.
