PrintThe 19th Hole Golf Show begins its ninth season this week with two guests to talk about the first two weeks of PGA Tour action and what we should expect to see from the Hope this week. SI's Alan Shipnuck joins us first to talk about the Bob Hope Classic, its demise and future prospects. Also, we touch on Robert Allenby getting the Vince Young treatment and explore why Corey Pavin blocked him on Twitter.
Also, we're joined by Golf Channel analyst Jerry Foltz to talk about what he has seen in the past two weeks on Tour doing TV coverage. We touch on the expectations for on course action this week in California and how the European Tour favors their top stars much more than the PGA Tour.

Should mention that the problem on this one is likely my Radio Shack device that I use to record phone convos on a land line – the board itself is good.

stupid radio shack !! DOH !
Google Voice Line ? Haven’t heard of that. There has to be a way to run the phone and your voice through the board so you don’t have to have your voice running through the phone, freeing up the phone line to have its own level
"this ball will fit in that fairway"
I have a basic board, but I’m not sure what cabling I would need to do that. I would LOVE to be able to do that.

Wendy? I have a great solution if your club is still under H2O…get yourself a skif…that’s a flat bottomed boat, that has very little draft…you stand in it and pole yourself along…Carry a flask like Easing, and when you get tired, you can tie up at a bunker and just rest for a bit….sorry Wendy, couldn’t help myself….STUB

in the 70’s here in the USA of Texas,..3rd day in a row…my hands are sore, and I pulled a muscle in my lower back yesterday, trying to act like a youngster and make a bigger shoulder turn for that extra yardage….Court, I still haven’t gotten used to that over sized pumpkin at the end of the shaft…Damm, life used to be so simple, where did I go wrong…STUB
