The Decider: We're Starting the Tiger Comeback Pool

If you've ever seen the wretched RomCom 40 Days and 40 Nights, then you know the idea of a date pool.  Everyone gets together, picks a date and time that an event will happen, and the person who nails the date wins.

Alternatively - if you're a bit more morbid - you may have been in a death pool.  Death pools are when you pick which celebrities (or whoever) will die within a certain, defined time period.

Since you're probably not interested in bets based on having sex and/or masturbation (if you are, here's a blog post describing what a sex addict goes through in treatment) or death, I figure we would start the Tiger Comeback Pool.

The rules are simple: tell me the tournament at which Tiger comes back.  If you're right, I'll send a to be determined prize your way.  For tiebreaking purposes, I'd also like you to tell me the place that Tiger will finish in when he returns.

C'mon, if Roger Federer and Sergio Garcia can tell us that they feel Tiger is coming back soon, then surely we can speculate wildly, too!

The Masters

I predict Woods shows up at Augusta.

The Pinkerton’s will keep the crowd nice for him. After that, El Cheetah, expect some yack from the galleries.

First, I

have to put my boots on before jumping into this so I don’t get my feet wet…My momma always said “…wear your rubbers son” I say he comes back at the Memorial, getting ready for the Masters…I would pick him to be in the top 3….STUB

Following The Masters there'll be

a new tournament called The Masters & Mistresses. Tiger will rule.

I won’t be surprised if he misses the Masters. I also won’t be surprised if he takes the whole year off. It’ll become a little more apparent as time goes on.

It’ll be easier to gauge after Tiger lets himself be seen in public again. I think that’s the signal. He’ll dip a toe in the water a little while before he tries to come back. He might do a fluff interview. He might be seen practicing in one of his usual places. Whenever these little signals start to happen, then he’s close to coming back.

Torrey Pines 2011 (whatever they call the Farmers San Diego Open next year)

It was Brown by a very healthy (no pun intended) 5 percentage points. Can you imagine the Democrats calling Ari Fleisher for damage control?

Barry’s 0 for 3 in re-election campaigns. He has left DC to campaign in Virginia, Mass…and one other state….for an incumbent or a traditionally democrat held seat. All three have gone down in flames. Add his trips to Copenhagen for the Olympics and to sell out our energy…errr….the “enviromental treaty”…and he’s 0 for 5. Ooops.

Pueto Rico

I am guessing that Tiger will be testing the waters off the mainland March 11 at Trump International in Pueto Rico to see what the fan reaction will be. If they don’t heckle him too badly he will turn up at Bay Hills in Arnie’s back yard then on to the Masters. Tigers first win will come at Augusta National.

Tiger's back ???

This is a no brainer. Bay Hill because it’s the easiest course on the Florida swing, he’s won it what ??? 5 times I guess. Plus there is Arnold. THAT is huge. He won’t win, but top 10 perhaps. Then the WGC at Doral. No win there either. Then the Masters and that will be his worst showing to that point. Then another several months in seclusion. Of course, this is all contingent of him splitting with Elin. If the unthinkable occurs and she takes him back, we won’t see him at all in 2010. She wouldn;t be that naive,…would she ? No I seriously doubt it. She’ll take the several hundred mil and say adios to his sorry ass. Bay Hill it is then……………………..Z.

you're still away,...choke on it !

December 2010

I dont see him back this year , but he will probably turn up for his money spinner in December .

I thought about Bay Hill – it’s close to home – he could take a helicopter from home to the course and back every day (hey – Phil’s done it before), but Bay Hill has too much public access.

Look for him at The Masters where he can be a little more protected from the media. He’s not going to win, but he’ll finish top 8…but he won’t have his yacht moored in Rae’s Creek.

come on TX – if the reports are true, TIger’s in Mississippi drinking snake oil and getting de-sex-ified as we speak. (but if he comes back on Tour looking like an offensive lineman, they might have turned him from unique to eunuch)

I heard Tiger

Was going to disguise himself as Ron Jeremy and play in this weeks pro-am. Last night he was spotted escorting Paris Hilton to dinner at the Adobe Grill in La Quinta.
