Some Golf News from Vegas: Tag Heuer and Perry Ellis

While walking through the LUXOR Hotel one morning last week I passed by a Tag Heuer Watch Store.  In the window was a large backdrop poster with Tiger Woods wearing one of their watches. There was also a life-size cardboard cutout of Tiger on display inside the door as well. 

Later that afternoon, I passed by the same store and guess what? The poster was missing from the window and the cardboard cut out was leaning up facing the wall behind the rear counter.  I guess Tag Heuer meant business when they said they were dropping him as I also notised he is no longer on their website.

ALSO, at one of my meetings it was mentioned that Perry Ellis International is now finally an official partner to design, manufacture and distribute Callaway golf and sportswear apparel in the U.S., Canada, Latin America and the Caribbean. This partnership has been in the works since last April but it is now official.
